What is a Warranty?
A warranty is a form of guarantee that a manufacturer makes regarding the condition and use-life of its product. If the product does not function as originally described or intended, or fails due to a manufacturing defect, the item can be replaced.
What is a Manufacturing Defect?
A manufacturing defect occurs when there is an accidental, unintended error during either the design or production of a product, causing it to not perform as intended. With fishing rods, manufacturing defects that affect the blank will usually reveal themselves within the first use/load of the rod.

What Happens if a rod is not covered under warranty?
All rods we carry are covered by a warranty, except for those marked as closeout, series, or model clearance. Depending on the nature of the break however, this may fall under our Rapid Replacement program. The Rapid Replacement program is for all rod breaks that are not deemed a manufacturing defect. This is still a warranty, but it also covers you in the case of incidental and use-life damage.
